[1] The Australian government e-conveyancing platform, estimated at $70 million, will be secured by American broadband and telecommunications company Verizon.
[2] The new system will enable the electronic transfer and settlement of a property without any paper documents, such as certificates of titles and bank cheques.
[3] NSW is already connected to the platform, while Victoria will be live next month, Queensland and Western Australia by May 2015 and the rest of the states done later.
