Canberra payphones converted to Wi-Fi hotspots in Telstra trial

[1] At an average of 5 Calls/day, Canberra’s payphones are set for an upgrade.

[2] Telstra has upgraded the Payphone’s services by installing Wi-Fi-hotspots in the payphones with a 50-m meter range.

[3] This latest innovation is a part of the 5-year Strategic plan to create 1000 hotspots worth $100 million across Australia.
