Google to test internet balloons in Australia

[1] Google in collaboration with Telstra is set to test-fly 20 internet balloons in western Queensland this December.

[2] These internet balloons will emit and distribute 4G-like signals to homes and phones 20km below.

[3]The company’s ultimate aim is to form ring of balloons orbiting the earth bringing internet to the estimated two-thirds of people around the globe.
