Social media companies better placed to deal with cyber bullying

[1] In a Brisbane public forum, Australia’s Human Rights Commissioner Tim Wilson declared his belief that it’s not the government but it is the society itself that plays a vital role in stopping cyber bullying.

[2] Wilson firmly believes that social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter are not perfect but because of their technology, they’re highly capable of reaching out and providing proper education to people all over the world.

[3] Next year, the Human Rights Commission will be reviewing human rights issues specifically on the aspects of religion and transgender issues.
