[1] Telstra customers will now be able to know within a very short time if they have reached their mobile data quota.
[2] This will help avoid avoid bill shock as customers will be notified when they reach 50 per cent, 85 per cent and 100 per cent of their data quota.
[3] Consumer advocacy group ACCAN noted that the move was in the right direction as it will help customers to better track their data usage.
