New and first commercial 3D printing factory opens in Melbourne

[1] The first commercial Australian 3D printing technology known as additive manufacturing constructs parts for sectors including mining, defence, construction, automotive and biomedical.

[2] According to Matt Minio, the technology will not supersede car and canning industries but will just produce a high value of products for niche markets straight off the printer.

[3] Federal Government has embraced the technology because they believed that it will help the economy as well lead the country to more sophistication.
