ANZ Introduces ‘tap and pin’ ATM technology

[1] ANZ bank has launched a new EMV ‘tap and pin’ technology that will be used for its entire nationwide ATM network.

[2] The roll out will be done in conjunction with Visa and ATM manufacturer NCR, and expected to be rolled out to all the ATMs by the end of 2015.

[3] The new technology would curb cases of card skimming and make banking easier, faster and more secure.
