[1] Virgin Australia has come up with a Wireless In-flight Entertainment system that allows passengers to stream media content right from their smartphone while in air.
[2] The media content is streamed free from the aircrafts server through wireless access points distributed throughout the aircraft.
[3] A passenger needs to download a free app for Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod touch or Android devices, and a Microsoft Silverlight for Windows laptops.
