Inside Barclays and CommBank’s open source collaboration

[1] A new collaboration is underway between Barclays and CommBank in a deal that will see Barclays use open source data analytics tools developed by internal CBA coders.

[2] The software development collaboration will be a good avenue for Barclays to learn from its Australian counterpart at an advanced level.       

[3] On key benefit of the partnership is that CommBank will benefit from Barclays’ strong IT work force that can bring the cost of maintenance and expansion down.
