Australia’s Mandatory Metadata Retention Legislation: Everything You Need To Know

[1] The House of Representatives of Australian Government officially announced a bill that would make the ISP’s and telcos to store data at specific amount of time.

[2] The said Bill is bound to set standards for data storage and duration of storage based on the TIA Act.

[3] While it has been known that the bill has already been approved, however the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security will re-examine the program after 3 years.
