Azure cloud platform data centers launched in Australia by Microsoft

[1] Two data centers were launched by Microsoft Company in Sydney Australia as part rolling out its Azure cloud computing platform.

[2] The Azure platform passed the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) industry security assessment, becoming the first public cloud service to do so.

[3] The data centers are located in Melbourne and Sydney, and ensure that Australian business data do not leave Australia.
